Who We Are

Delinquent Planet was an idea we came up with while sitting at a bar at TF Green Airport in Providence, RI. We were waiting for a Thursday evening flight, a pretty common flight for us, take a PTO day Friday, leave after work Thursday, and spend 3 nights exploring a new place, then back in the office Monday morning experiencing dehydration, lava belly (read: heartburn), and Monday scaries. Anyways, there we were at the Airport bar enjoying the first beverage of our trip, googling things to do in our destination city of Charleston, SC. We got talking about how the travel blogs that were out there were great, but they weren't designed for us. No blogs would tell us the best dimly lit dive bars in town, or which streets were best for people watching late night, or the beach we could sneak a few beers in a backpack out on and waste the day away. An idea struck us: let's make our own travel blog, for people like us. Delinquent Planet was born. We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we're enjoying living it.
